Lagos civil servants to work three days a week due to  increased cost of living

✓ Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, announces a reduction in public servants’ working days to alleviate the cost of living crisis.

✓ Civil servants from lower levels to work three times a week, while those at levels 15-17 can work four times a week.

✓ Sanwo-Olu plans to open Sunday Markets in 42 identified markets for discounted food items, limiting purchases to N25,000 per person.

✓ A 25% reduction in transport services for the State Public Transport system (BRT, Train, Ferry) starting this weekend.

✓ The governor calls for empathy, challenging the private sector to contribute to alleviating socioeconomic challenges.
