Despite police warnings, protesters took to the streets of Lagos to voice their concerns over the escalating cost of living and food prices in the country.
In footage shared by X, members of the human rights group known as the “Take It Back Movement” were seen carrying placards with various messages in the Ojuelegba area.
Police officers were present at the protest to prevent potential violence. Lagos Commissioner of Police, Adegoke Fayoade, issued a warning against any demonstrations in the state on Sunday.
