President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Ondo State, embarking on a condolence visit to the family of the late governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, at his residence in Owo. The President is also scheduled to visit the national leader of the Pan Yoruba Socio-Political Group, Afenifere Pa Reuben Fasoranti, in Akure, the Ondo State capital, following a prior visit to Olowo of Owo Kingdom, Oba Ajibade Ogunoye.
Arriving at Akure Airport at 11:35 am via a Nigerian Air Force jet, President Tinubu was warmly welcomed with a presidential parade set up at the terminal. Notable figures, including Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, his Ekiti counterpart Biodun Oyebanji, government functionaries, and prominent politicians, were present to receive the President.
Ade Adetimehin, the chairman of the party in the state, led other party leaders to extend a warm welcome to President Tinubu. Additionally, several governorship aspirants were in attendance, adding to the notable figures present at the airport to receive the President.
