Red Bull team principal Christian Horner cleared of allegations of inappropriate behavior

Red Bull’s team principal, Christian Horner, has been exonerated following an internal investigation into allegations of inappropriate behavior towards a female colleague.

“Red Bull is confident that the investigation has been fair, rigorous, and impartial,” stated a spokesperson for the company.

Horner, who has led Red Bull since 2005, firmly denied the accusations.

In a statement released from Red Bull’s headquarters in Austria, it was stated: “The complainant has a right of appeal.”

However, Red Bull did not disclose the specifics of the allegations or the investigative process.

“The investigation report is confidential and contains the private information of the parties and third parties who assisted in the investigation, and therefore we will not be commenting further out of respect for all concerned,” the statement noted.

Red Bull reiterated its commitment to upholding the highest workplace standards.

The investigation was initiated by Red Bull after details of the allegations surfaced on February 5.

This decision by Red Bull, made following a meeting of the company’s board of directors, concludes an eight-week inquiry that became public earlier this month.

Lewis Hamilton, speaking at the season-opening Bahrain Grand Prix, emphasized the significance of the investigation: “It’s a really important moment to make sure we stand true to our values.”

The seven-time world champion added, “We always have to do more to try to make the sport and the environment people work in feel safe and inclusive, and any allegations have to be taken very seriously. It will be really interesting to see how it is dealt with and the effect it may well have on the sport.”
