The Nigeria Customs Service, Apapa Area Command said it collected N489bn as revenue for the first quarter of 2024.
The command’s Public Relations Officer, Abubakar Usman, disclosed this in a statement on Saturday.
Usman said that the figure represents more than 100 per cent increase when compared with N213bn the command collected same period in 2023.
The command’s Customs Area Controller, Babajide Jaiyeoba, commended the officers and stakeholders for their cooperation in attaining the feat.
