Paris won’t be living up to its nickname as the City of Love when the Olympics roll into town this summer.
Preparations are well underway for the planet’s biggest sporting event – including the arrival of anti-sex beds. The beds will be installed in the Olympic village, where its hoped their materials and small size will stop athletes getting jiggy.
The beds will be made by Airweave, the same company who supplied beds for the Tokyo games. And on that occasion, the beds were allegedly designed to collapse under the weight of two athletes.

“I hope that Paris 2024’s efforts to reduce its impact will show that it is possible to do things differently,” Georgina Grenon, director of environmental excellence for the organizing committee told Inside the Games.
