FG appoints eight new deputy corps marshals for FRSC, retires three after promotion

The federal government has appointed eight new Deputy Corps Marshals DCMs of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC).

A statement from the FRSC headquarters in Abuja announcing the appointment on Monday, said the eight DCMS were promoted from the rank of Assistant Corps Marshal (ACM).

The statement said the federal government, through the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume, has approved the promotion of eight Assistant Corps Marshals (ACMs) to Deputy Corps Marshals (DCMs).

According to the statement, three of the appointees will immediately proceed on an immediate retirement.

It added that “the remaining 5 are to fill up existing vacancies in the South-South, South-East, South-West, North-Central, and North-West geopolitical zones.”

The new DCMs are Clement Oladele for North Central, Chidiebere Nkwonta for South-East, Sunday Iyamah for South-South, Musa Yerima for North-West, and Abiodun Akinlade for South-West.
