Canada’s women’s football team in spying scandal: Coach and analyst sent home


The Canadian women’s football team suffered a major setback as two staff members were sent home from the Olympics, just days before their opening game against New Zealand. The departure comes on the heels of a drone flying incident over a New Zealand training session, raising concerns about integrity and potential violations of rules.

Bev Priestman, the team’s head coach, also announced her non-involvement in the upcoming match, as the team faces scrutiny from French authorities, the IOC integrity unit, and FIFA.
