A viral 12-second TikTok video has shown a self-confessed terrorist asking #EndBadGovernance protesters to send him their account details, as he is happy with anyone ;fighting the government’.

In the TikTok originally shared by RabeMagarya3, but which has now been deleted, the bandit said in Hausa language that he constantly fights the Nigerian government because he is displeased with them and he is happy there are other Nigerians who share his sentiment.

Wearing a camouflage similar to that of the Nigerian army, he said: “Protest people, I heard you guys are fighting the government and protesting against them.

“I am happy about that so you guys should send me your bank details, let me credit you.”The TikTok.

In response to his demand, FIJ saw a clip where dozens of Nigerians responded to TikTok with their bank details.

The #EndBadGovernance nationwide protest kicked off on August 1 and was to end on Saturday as an actiob against hunger, rising cost of living and other issues. While it was peaceful in some parts of the country, violence and deaths were recorded in others, which has now led the coveners of the action to suspend the protest to honour those who were killed.

Also, amidst Nigeria’s rising insecurity in recent times, this is not the first time a terrorist has filmed himself confessing to terrorism.

In March, the TikTok video of a bandit linked to kidnapping went viral as he flaunted bundles of cash he had collected from victims as ransom.
