Nottingham Forest is in ongoing discussions with Arsenal regarding a £30 million transfer for striker Eddie Nketiah. While an agreement has not yet been reached, the 25-year-old is nearing the end of his time at the Emirates Stadium.
Forest is considering several striker options, including Feyenoord’s Santiago Gimenez, but has made significant progress with the Nketiah move.
Nketiah has spent most of his career at Arsenal, aside from a half-season loan at Leeds during the 2019-20 campaign.
He has scored 38 goals in 168 appearances for Arsenal but has made only 38 Premier League starts since his debut in 2018. He was an unused substitute in Arsenal’s 2-0 victory over Wolves on the opening day of the Premier League season.
