Former president Donald Trump hammered the Biden-Harris administration’s withdrawal from Afghanistan on the third anniversary of the deaths of 13 U.S. service members killed during the withdrawal operation.
Trump delivered a speech in front of the National Guard Association in Detroit on Monday after attending a ceremony for the fallen soldiers at Arlington National Cemetery. Trump was joined on stage in Detroit by former Democratic congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard, who backed Trump’s bid to return to the White House.
Trump attacked President Joe Biden’s handling of the Afghanistan withdrawal, especially over the loss of 13 U.S. service members killed in a terrorist attack on Kabul’s airport, calling it the “most embarrassing day in the history of our country.”
