Is the presidency aware that fuel is currently sold at N1,000?

TRIBUNE

Car owners, commercial drivers and motorcyclists are worried as  fuel marketers continue to sell petrol at N1,000 per litre in Oyo State. NNPCL is the only filing station in Oyo State that sells fuel at N580 and those who want to buy will be constrained to join a long queue from 4 am till 7 pm before they can get fuel.  Many people in the state are complaining bitterly about this outrageous price.

President Bola Tinubu’s advisers should draw his attention to the current outrageous price of petrol.

Some civil servants in Oyo State have been forced to abandon their cars at home because of their inability to buy fuel at N1,000. How much is the salary of a civil servant in Oyo State to afford N1,000 per litre? Can a level 10 civil servant in Oyo State afford to buy fuel at N1,000?

The presidency needs to address the current agony of outrageous price of fuel now. Nigerians have been waiting for a very long time for the presidency to look into the series of challenges facing us.

The presidency has been telling us to be patient. How long will it take this government to fix this country? Those in position of authority are enjoying with their family members and can afford to buy fuel at N1,000 per litre, but civil servants and other citizens can’t afford it. Nigeria is an oil-producing nation. Why are we suffering to get fuel at cheaper price for God’s sake? This is very disturbing.
