Gombe enrolls 1,000 Almajiri students in health insurance

No fewer than 1,000 Almajiri children will benefit from the Gombe State Contributory HealthCare Management Agency under its equity programme.

Our correspondent reports that the occasion was organised with support from the office of the Special Adviser to the Governor at Tsansanya, Almajiri, and Islamiyya schools.

Speaking, Governor Muhammadu Yahaya, who was represented by Deputy Governor, Dr Manassah Jatau, said in a bid to ensure an unwavering commitment to meeting the health needs of the populace, his administration introduced GoHealth to provide access to health care especially the vulnerable and the less privilege.
