Nigeria’s National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has urged the public to be wary of a faith-based organization, Christ Mercy Land Delivery Ministries, led by Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin, who uses the agency’s name to deceive the public.
NAFDAC has received petitions from concerned citizens about Miracle Water and Miracle Soap being advertised with healing claims and sold to unsuspecting members of the public. The ministry showcased the use of Miracle Water and Miracle Soap on social media to heal barrenness, and claimed that women would carry twins if they used the soap.
The public began visiting the agency to confirm the claims. NAFDAC contacted the Delta State Coordinator to verify the claims and take necessary regulatory action on the production facility.
The State Coordinator visited the Mercy Land Ministry and met with the Head of Service and Chief Security Officer, but the officials denied producing the Miracle Water or Soap.
