JUST IN: 110m Nigerians have enrolled for NIN, says NIMC DG

The National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) says 110 million Nigerians have registered for the national identification number (NIN).

The figure is a 2.4 percent increase from the 107.34 million recorded in May.

Abisoye Coker-Odusote, NIMC’s director-general, spoke on Monday at an ongoing event to commemorate the sixth edition of the national day of identity, themed, ‘Digital Public Infrastructure: Enabling Access to Services, in Abuja.
