Afe Babalola criticizes NNPC’s monopoly on Petrol sales

Aare Afe Babalola, Chancellor of Afe Babalola University, has criticised the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited’s monopoly on petrol sales from the Dangote refinery. Babalola expressed dissatisfaction with recent petroleum price hikes and called on governments to avoid turning Nigerians into beggars.

He received the ‘Outstanding Achiever of All Times Award’ from the Ekiti Kete Coalition United States of America and praised Senator Opeyemi Bamidele for his stable role in politics. Babalola called for free trade and urged the government to make life worth living for Nigerians. He emphasized the need for a change of mindset and aimed to establish ABUAD as a place to change people’s mindsets.
