VIDEO: Lagos task force seizes a fleet of illegally parked vehicles at Cubana club

The operatives of Lagos State Environment and Security Taskforce have taken action on motorists who parked vehicles illegally at Cubana Club obstructing the free flow of traffic along Sobo Arobiodu road, GRA Ikeja.

This was disclosed in a statement and video shared on http://X.com by the Lagos State Commissioner, Ministry of Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, on Saturday.

According to the statement, the operation was carried out at about 1 am on Saturday during which 28 number plates of vehicles suspected of violating the Lagos traffic rule were seized.

The statement reads, “The Lagos State Environmental/Security Taskforce team today at about 0100hrs (1a.m) carried out a night enforcement operation, during which number plates of vehicles parked illegally in front of Cubana (Night Club) obstructing the free flow of traffic along Sobo Arobiodu road, GRA Ikeja, were untied and confiscated accordingly.

“28 number plates of vehicles caught violating the Lagos State traffic regulations at the location were all removed.

The statement further revealed offenders will be charged in court.

It added, “Owners of the offending vehicles will all be charged to court.”
