Rapper A$AP Rocky is set to buy EFL Club Tranmere Rovers, according to reports.
The 36-year-old, who is in a relationship with pop superstar Rihanna, is said to be part of an investment group headed up by celebrity lawyer Joe Tacopina.
Tacopina, Donald Trump’s former representative, has reportedly been in talks with the League Two side for over six months over an 80 per cent stake worth £15million.
The proposed takeover is awaiting regulatory approval from the EFL and Rocky is likely to attend games at Prenton Park once the deal has been confirmed.
A source told the Sun’s on Sunday’s Bizarre column: ‘Rocky is tight with Joe and has committed to the Tranmere bid. Joe has been to Tranmere matches and Rocky has plans to go over too after the deal is completed.

‘We may even see Rihanna watching League Two football.’
Reports have claimed that a documentary in the style of the critically-acclaimed ‘Welcome to Wrexham’ could also be in the pipeline.
The Disney+ show follows the journey of Hollywood duo Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds as they bought Welsh side Wrexham and lifted them into League One.
Tacopina is said to view Tranmere as undervalued and as such, a similar celebrity endorsement to Wrexham’s could help to transform the club.
‘Joe thinks Tranmere – a famous club, near to Liverpool – is undervalued and that by clever marketing and celebrity endorsement he can transform it,’ the source said.
