The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has stated that the All Progressives Congress (APC) has nothing to show for its re-election campaign in 2027, which is why it seems jittery and unsettled by Governor Seyi Makinde’s remarks about its performance.
In a statement from the Oyo State chapter, Michael Ogunsina, the PDP’s Publicity Secretary, described the APC’s reaction to Makinde’s comments as unnecessary.
During an event in Ibadan last week, where the Zonal Secretariat of the PDP was commissioned in memory of the late Olusoji Adagunodo, Makinde indicated that the 2027 general elections would be a contest between the APC and the Nigerian people.
The party described the statement as an obvious truth that needs not to be contested by the leadership of the APC.
It was stated that the APC needs not to be afraid, if at all it is doing the right things as expected by the generality of the Country.
