Because not only is her exquisite eight carat triple-diamond studded band estimated to be worth £200,000 – make no mistake, in the flesh, this is not just a rock but a veritable mountain range – but the man who gave it to her just happens to be James Watt, co-founder of the phenomenally successful beer company BrewDog, who has a fortune of £262million.
Georgia’s glee, then, as she speaks to the Mail in her first interview since becoming engaged on holiday in Greece a fortnight ago, is barely containable.
‘It’s not lost on me that it is totally obscene, it is gorgeous,’ she says, holding her ring out for me to inspect.
