Incoming White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt torpedoed The Washington Post over a media request the outlet sent to her, sharing screenshots of blatant attempts to tie President-elect Donald Trump to an act of racism.
Leavitt posted a photo of the email from The Washington Post on her X account, tearing into the outlet for attempting to use such a situation to foment racial division and then blame Trump for it, despite even admitting that Trump was not remotely connected to the event in question.
“I just received one of the most absurd emails EVER from the Washington Post,” Leavitt began. “This ‘reporter’ is doing gymnastics to try and sow division and blame President Trump for something that he admits in his email has no trace to him whatsoever.”
