For his patriotism to his fatherland and humility, Wizkid more than qualifies to be the leader of the pack in the Nigerian and African music industry.
Someone whose songs bring pleasure to our youths and treasure to our economy. But most importantly, his words bring succour to our country and attract positive attention to Nigeria from foreigners.
He is to Nigeria what Rihanna is to Barbados: One who understands that God put him in the privileged position that he is in and uses his words and actions to make life better, not worse, for his country.
His love for his country is more important than his mood or feelings. His affection for Nigeria guards his speech and actions. He is the epitome of the Omoluabi ethos. May God bless Ayodeji Balogun for understanding how to use his words to help those from this part of the world, and may God bless the parents that raised such a wise child.
