Kansas City Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes called out the NFL over his team’s upcoming three-game stretch over the Christmas holiday.
Speaking to members of the press, the Super Bowl-winning QB admitted he’s worried about the wear and tear on his body after the league scheduled three games over an 11-day period, starting with a road trip on Sunday, December 15 against the Cleveland Browns.
“It’s not a good feeling,” Mahomes said, per The Associated Press. “You never want to play this amount of games in this short of time.”
“It’s not great for your body,” he added. “But at the end of the day it’s your job, your profession, you have to come to work and do it.”
