LP rep urges Nigerians to back President Tinubu’s reforms for national progress

A Labour Party (LP) member of the House of Representatives, Honourable Amobi Godwin Ogah, has called on Nigerians to rally behind President Bola Tinubu’s transformation initiatives. 

Ogah stressed that such support is crucial given the lasting impact of the policies implemented so far, which he believes are pivotal for the country’s socioeconomic growth and development. 

Speaking on Wednesday at the National Assembly, the Chairman of the House Committee on HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria Control commended the government’s political will in allocating funds for malaria control in the 2025 budget. 

“This is the first time the Federal Government is directly appropriating funds for malaria eradication efforts,” Ogah noted, emphasising the significance of this bold step in addressing one of the nation’s most pressing health challenges..
