Former Nigerian Minister of External Affairs, Prof Bolaji Akinyemi, has cautioned the UK Conservative Party leader, Kemi Badenoch, to stop denigrating Nigeria.
Prof Akinyemi submitted that Badenoch is making a mistake by talking ill of Nigeria constantly on the international stage.
He added that instead of making negative comments about Nigeria, Badenoch should rather concentrate on strengthening her party in Britain.
Naija News reports Professor Akinyemi said this on Monday during an interview with Channels Television while airing his view about the constant negative remarks from Badenoch about Nigeria.
The former Director General of the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs (NIIA) submitted that it is wrong for Badenoch to throw her people and culture under the bus just because she sees it as an opportunity to advance her political career.
