This is the first picture of a top Citibank boss found dead in her flat, as police launch an urgent manhunt to catch the killer who they believe was ‘known to her’.

Marianne Kilonzi, 43, who was VP of Trade and Working Capital Sales at the financial giant, was discovered with a fatal head injury at her home in Woolwich, southeast London, on Friday afternoon.

Officers attended the home on Argyll Road – an affluent street just a stone’s throw away from the River Thames where house prices are £442,000 on average – at 5.25pm, after receiving calls from people concerned for her welfare.

Metropolitan Police launched a murder probe but no arrests have yet been made, but officers said they are hunting a suspect ‘known’ to Ms Kilonzi.
