Rotary Club of lyaganku-Ibadan has trained 50 secondary school students in different vocational skills.
A seminar, which took place at the clubhouse last Friday, was aimed at discovering opportunities in catering, branding, antiseptic production, sewing, and computer training, among others.
The schools whose students benefited from the skills training include; Baptist Secondary School, Liberty Road, Ibadan; Oke-Bola Comprehensive High School, Ibadan; Oke-Ado High School, Joyce-B Road, Ibadan; Celestial High School, Joyce-B Road, Ibadan and I.M.G Grammar School, Sharp corner, Oke Ado, Ibadan.
Speaking, the Director for the project, tagged: ‘Seminar for Secondary School Leavers’, Rotn Simon Awotoye, said the beneficiaries are final-year students from five selected schools, with each school having 10 students.
