I think what Elon is saying is basically this: money itself has no intrinsic value or power; it is merely a tool—a database—for facilitating the exchange of goods and services. The real foundation of an economy lies in the production and availability of these goods and services, not in the accumulation of money. Wealth is meaningful only when it represents real value, such as resources, labor, innovation, and productivity, rather than just numbers in a bank account. Essentially, economic strength comes from what people create and trade, not from the money used to measure those transactions.
