President Bola Tinubu on Saturday ended speculation over a strained relationship with Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, declaring: “It’s all over now. All is forgiven.”
The president made the statement while receiving Eid-el-Kabir homage from the Lagos Governance Advisory Council at his Ikoyi residence.
Present were APC leaders including Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat, Senator Tokunbo Abiru, and Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila.

According to insiders, Sanwo-Olu and others prostrated in a show of remorse before the president. “They just pleaded for outright mercy,” a source said.
Sanwo-Olu later told reporters, “We came to wish him well and express Lagosians’ support.”
Also on Saturday, the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, visited Tinubu, endorsing his economic reforms and proposed Forest Guard security plan to attract foreign investment.
