WWE legend Hulk Hogan, who died last week at age 71 from cardiac arrest, left behind a multi-million dollar fortune—but his daughter, Brooke Hogan, will not inherit any of it. Brooke, 37, revealed she chose to “step away to protect my heart” two years before his death, removing herself from his life and his will.

According to TMZ, Brooke distrusted those in her father’s inner circle and opted out of his estate to avoid conflict. Despite past tensions, she emphasized on Instagram that “our bond has never broken… [and] spanned lifetimes.” Hogan, reportedly worth $25 million, had not met Brooke’s twin children, born in January, despite her husband’s efforts to reconnect them. Even after a near-fatal childbirth incident, Hogan allegedly remained distant.

Brooke is expected to receive a life insurance payout, which she plans to use for her children’s education. “You were my everything, and I will always be your girl,” she wrote. “I love you more than all the stars in the sky, 4LifeAfterLife.”
