Expressing delight at the partnership with Polaris Bank, newly-elected Captain of the Golf Section of Ikoyi Club 1938, Innocent Okoro, thanked the bank for their support for the tournament.
“It is a peace and unity tournament that will assist every golfer in the country to converge and talk about how to move this country forward. That is the idea behind the tournament and this is the first of its kind. When we play for about five hours, we would have been able to communicate to each other the need for this country to be a one, undivided nation,” Okoro said at a press conference Friday.
“I am happy that Polaris Bank has been able to key into this vision, collaborate with us and ensure that this dream comes true.”
