Leicester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho is still expected to join the Super Eagles camp after a hitch with his flight from England, officials said.
Iheanacho is the only player still to join up with the squad ahead of Saturday’s AFCON qualifier in Benin and home game against Lesotho in Lagos Tuesday.
The 24-year-old striker has enjoyed a fine run with his club lately, scoring nine goals in as many matches thus far.
Last week, he scored twice for Leicester City to go past Manchester United to set up an FA Cup semifinal against Southampton on April 17 at Wembley.
