Both William Ekong and Ahmed Musa have backed the Super Eagles to beat Benin in Porto-Novo Saturday to qualify for the 2021 AFCON.
Nigeria top Group L with eight points from four matches, while Benin are second on seven points.
A win or even a draw by the Super Eagles will book their passage to the AFCON to be staged by Cameroon next year.
“The boys are fired up, there’s a lot of energy and we are here to get the job done,” said Ekong.
“It will be a difficult game on Saturday, when we played in Uyo against the same team it was a difficult game.
“We will go for all three points. You will see a team who are ready to fight to get the job done.”
Ahmed Musa was equaly bullish of the Eagles chances in Benin this weekend.
“We are going there to win,” he offered.
“We know that they have not lost at home since 2013, but with the hard work we have put in, the boys can win there.”
Saturday’s clash will kick off 5pm at the Charles de Gaulle Stadium in Porto-Novo.
