Pelosi to ‘Steal’ a Seat Because They Have a Slim Majority

House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) said during a press conference Wednesday that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is trying to steal Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks’ (R-IA) seat because Democrats only have a five member majority.

McCarthy spoke at a press conference in Davenport, Iowa, with Reps. Miller-Meeks and Ashley Hinson (R-IA) regarding the Democrats’ move to unseat Miller-Meeks. Miller-Meeks won Iowa’s second congressional seat; however, Iowa Democrat Hart moved to contest the election results at the House Administration Committee.
