The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) said Nigeria recorded 83 new cases of COVID-19 with no fatalities recorded from the disease in seven days.
The NCDC disclosed this on its official Twitter handle on Thursday.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the centre said the fatality toll in the country remained 2,058.
It also added that daily new cases have also continued to follow a downward trajectory, from an all-time high of 2,314 on Jan. 22.
