The explosion happened in Zartalai village in Shah Walikot district of Kandahar on Thursday evening.
Four civilians were killed in a roadside bomb blast in Shah Wali Kot district in the southern province of Kandahar on Thursday evening, the provincial police spokesman Jamal Nasir Barikzai said.
He said that two children were also among those killed in the explosion.
Barikzai said that all victims were members of one family.
The blast happened in Zartalai area in Shah Wali Kot district in which a vehicle carrying civilians passed struck a roadside bomb, he said.
No group has claimed responsibility for the blast.
