Banji Akintoye has raised the alarm over plans by terrorists to attack Yoruba land.
The former senator said places of worship like the Redemption camp, bridges would be targeted.
Going further, he called on governors to do everything to stop the attack.
In a letter to state governors in the Southwest, Prof. Banji Akintoye has alleged that the entire region has already been surrounded by terrorists.
Akintoye, who is the leader of Ilana Omo Oodua, the umbrella body for Yoruba self-determination groups, said it is necessary for the governors to do something to safeguard the lives and property of the people.
He said the terrorists were ready to strike any moment from now.
Banji Akintoye has alerted governors in the South-West that the entire region has already been surrounded by terrorists.
