6th UN Global Road Safety Week: FRSC cautions drivers on over speeding

As part of the activities commemorating the 6th UN Global Road Safety Week, the Federal Road Safety Corp. has urged everyone to avoid over speeding as a preventative measure for road accidents.

The Lagos State Sector Commander Olusegun Ogungbemide, announced this during a press conference to mark the start of the Global Road Safety Week in Lagos.

The sector commander stated that in light of recent statistics resulting in mass killings as a result of excessive speeding, the Corp is also urging everyone to enforce the national speed limit of 30 kilometers per hour.

Mr. Ogungbemide called for concerted efforts of all to ensure the avoidance of untimely death.
