Children’s Day: FG launches `safe to school’ initiative |

The Federal Government on Thursday inaugurated a “Safe to School, Be Seen, Be Safe” initiative to ensure the children safety in and out of school.

The Minister of Education, Malam Adamu Adamu, at the unveiling of customised reflective children safety jackets and uniforms for cadet and school crossing guards in Abuja

Adamu, represented at the occasion by the Minister of State for Education, Mr Chukuemeka Nwajiuba, said that the initiative would increase access and quality of education of over 40 million school children.
