Three officers killed as gunmen attack another police station in Delta

Gunmen have attacked Umutu police divisional headquarters in Ukwuani LGA of Delta state.

Two police officers who were on duty at the station were killed during a gun duel with the gunmen while another one died in the hospital as a result of high blood pressure.

Bright Edafe, police public relations officers in the state, confirmed the attack in a statement.

Edafe said the police succeeded in repelling the attack while two of the suspects were shot dead.
