Abdullahi Ganduje, governor of Kano, says there will be no form of discrimination against any ethnic group in the state.
The assurance is coming at a period when issues like open grazing and farmer-herder clashes have created hostility between ethnic groups across the country.
Speaking in Kano at an event to mark his sixth anniversary in office, Ganduje said every resident of the state shall be treated respectfully, irrespective of their ethnicity.
