Utah woman who fell while canyoneering in Zion National Park identified

Authorities on Tuesday identified the 26-year-old woman who died after falling in a canyon at a U.S. national park in Utah over the weekend. 

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office identified the victim as Cassidy Brown, of Springdale, Utah, reports said. 

“Although still under investigation, there is not evidence to suggest the cause of death was anything other than a tragic recreational accident,” the sheriff’s office said in the statement, according to FOX 5 of Las Vegas.
