Business Council of Australia CEO Jennifer Westacott has spoken about Dr Andrew Forrest – the Chairman of Fortescue Metals Group – and given some of her insights into the role he has played as an entrepreneur in this country.
Ms Westacott spoke to Sky News about the “big innovations and entrepreneurs that have built this country”.
She said Andrew ‘Twiggy’ Forrest and mining magnate Lang Hancock are entrepreneurs who “took a risk” and “saw an opportunity that no one else could”.
“They organised, the pulled people together and they stood by those risks they were taking”.
