The National Association of Residents Doctors (NARD) has its members are not worried by the Federal Government’s no-work-no-pay threat.
The Kogi State Chairman of NARD, Comrade Joseph Enejo, disclosed this during an interview with DAILY POST on Friday.
Enejo vowed that the association will not call off the ongoing strike until their demands are met by the Federal Government.
He called on the Federal Government to as a matter of urgency to look into their plight, stressing that doctors in the country have sacrificed a lot despite the meager amount of money paid to them which serves as their take home pay.
Enejo averred that residents doctors can not be coerced to return back to work by the Government until their demands are met.
“There is no threat than people working for several months without salary. There is no threat than health officers working round the clock without anything to show for it.
