Robotics manufacturer Boston Dynamics has revealed a video of two of its Atlas robots doing parkour.
The footage shows how robots successfully passed the parkour obstacle course, imitating human movements. In particular, they ran on plywood panels, jumped over a beam, and did backflips. Engineers want to teach robots to move in the same way as humans. Robots can already adapt their behaviour depending on what they see – now they do not need to be specially programmed for certain activity.
