Insecurity: Second batch of A-29 Super Tucano aircraft departs US for Nigeria


The second batch of six A-29 Super Tucano aircraft has departed the United States of America en route to Nigeria.

A presidential aide, Tolu Ogunlesi, posted this on his Facebook page on Sunday.

In a link shared by the presidential aide, the fighter planes were said to have refuelled at Rectrix in the Worcester Regional Airport.

The planes are expected to land in Nigeria on or around September 24.
