The Senate on Wednesday moved against importation of fake goods into Nigeria as a bill seeking to prohibit such an act scaled second reading during plenary.
This was contained in a statement by the Special Assistant on Press to the President of the Senate, Ezrel Tabiowo, titled, ‘Nigeria: Senate moves against importation of fake goods’.
Tagged ‘Counterfeit Goods Bill 2021’, the bill was sponsored by Ibikunle Amosun representing Ogun Central.
