Edinson Cavani has admitted that Jadon Sancho has had to overcome ‘quite a tough period’ at Manchester United.
United were long-term admirers of Sancho and they finally landed their man when signing him for £72.9m this summer.
Sancho had built a reputation as one of Europe’s finest young talents thanks to his consistently outstanding performances – the winger scored 16 goals and provided 21 assists last season – at Borussia Dortmund and there were high expectations upon his arrival.
