Manchester United are set to be without star man Luke Shaw when facing Arsenal in the Premier League on Thursday evening although there is a place in the squad for youngster Amad Diallo.

Michael Carrick takes charge of his final game as stand-in manager tonight with the Red Devils aiming to maintain their unbeaten streak since his temporary appointment.

The 40-year-old has overseen Man United’s qualification to the Champions League knockout stages with an away win at Villarreal whilst also claiming an admirable draw against table-toppers Chelsea in the Premier League.

Now though, the Manchester Evening News report Carrick is set to remain without starting left-back Luke Shaw who remains sidelined after receiving a blow to the head against Watford.

The article states there are also doubts concerning the fitness of Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Nemanja Matic.

The trio were absent from the Man Utd squad that arrived at the Hyatt Hotel on Thursday afternoon and are all expected to miss the game against the Gunners this evening…
