The Sultan of Sokoto Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar on Thursday asked Muslims to stop accusing Christians of killings in the north.
The Sultan is the President-General of the Nigeria Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA) and Co-Chairman of Nigeria Inter-Religious Council (NIREC).
He spoke in Abuja at the fourth quarterly meeting of NIREC.
The Sultan urged Christians to disregard a threat by some unknown persons to kill them Zamfara State.
